Bonnie Lulenga is a local musician based in Kising’a village in Kilolo District. He is singing songs from the region, songs that he accompanies with music on self-manufactured instruments made from local materials including drums, whistles, cowbells, bass strings and mortars. His dream is to become economically independent through his music one day. Bonnie is the fahari yetu house artist and performs at most cultural events hosted at Iringa Boma and elsewhere. His performances have been strikingly appealing to all different audiences. In fall 2019 his music was professionally recorded for marketing through online downloads.
